Whats up guys!
I have something really important to tell you.......
I may have found the most beautiful foundation. Of. All. Time.
I know, pretty important stuff right?
So today we are going to be talking about Lancome Teint Idole Ultrawear Makeup Stick Foundation.
I received this foundation in the mail and could not wait to try it out. I am a really big fan of cream and stick foundations, especially as I've gotten a little older. *Sighhhhh.
So Lancome claims the Teint Idole Ultrawear Makeup Stick is a 24hr wear, high pigment, matte & silky smooth. For me the foundation applies like a dream, it doesn't cling to my texture. Offers medium/full coverage and had a very natural satin matte finish. I would describe the finish as your skin but WAY better. It also feels feather light! It is NOT 24hr wear though, I got 9hrs, with good longevity considering I didn't prime or set anything.
The Lancome Teint Idole Ultrawear Makeup Stick runs for $42 at Sephora, contains .31 oz, which is pretty standard for a pan stick foundation, and it has 30 shades in the range.

Will this foundation work for you?
- Young/Teen Skin- Yes, I think this would be IDEAL for you, because it comes in a stick form its portable for your school bag or purse, and the coverage is very buildable (I am not a fan of FULL coverage on beautiful young skin) and because its a stick form you can also use it to easily spot conceal any blemishes!
- Mature Skin- Yes, creasing is always what comes to mind first when I consider mature skin, I didn't have any while testing this foundation (and that's without primer/setting powder). I think the lightweight but high coverage formula will help to give you coverage to even out discoloration but won't settle into fine lines and wrinkles.
- Normal Skin- Yes, total no brainer. If you like a very natural looking base. You will really love this. I am going to pick up a lighter/darker shade to use them for HAC.
- Oily Skin- Yes BUT with a couple tweaks. You will need to prime or set. I did get pretty dewy when I was wearing it after about 5 hours, mostly on the pads of my cheeks and center of the forehead. That being said, I think the way the foundation sat (on my skin) and felt it would be really worth it to give it a shot or get a sample!
- Dry Skin- Yes, Yes, Yes! I really loved how this looked on my skin, I tend to have dry texture around my nose and outer cheek/jaw area due to my retin-a regimen. This did not cling or enhance any issues and in fact it smoothed out my pores actually making my texture look better without any primer!
- Acne Prone Skin- Yes, I think this would look great on acne prone skin because it is great coverage but also forgiving on texture. SIDE NOTE- make sure you are properly sanitizing the foundation stick OR applying it to the back of your hand or fingertips to avoid going over active blemishes and getting bacteria on your product. To sanitize just pour some rubbing alchol on a cotton round a gently rub the foundation stick on it to sanitize.
PRO'S
- Beautiful natural looking finish
- Lightweight feel
- Great buildable foundation and coverage, would be good for photography
- Oil-free, fragrance-free & noncomedonegenic
- Sits nicely on texture
CON'S
- None? That I love it so much I wish it came in a full 1.0oz so I would get more at a time?
I really do love this foundation. What is your current favorite base product?
